Looking to start saving money this year? Need a little inspiration to get started? I got you!!
A money-saving challenge is a great way to stay committed to saving money over a certain period of time. Some challenges might last a week, a month, or some last the entire year. What I love most about money-saving challenges is that they are an amazing way to motivate yourself financially.
This year I decided to start a money savings challenge to stick to my financial goals. Whether you are paying off debt, saving up for a trip, a down payment on a home, or increasing your emergency fund, a savings challenge is a great way to help stay on top of those goals. Plus - it makes it a little more fun.
Money-Saving Challenges are great. It keeps you accountable and it’s fun to see your money accumulate as you work towards your goal. I placed my template in my digital planner, but you can also print one out or simply use a page in your notebook.

The $10,000 Savings Challenge
This 52-week money challenge to save $10,000 has been absolutely gold for me these past few months.
The 52-Weeks Savings Challenge is easy to use and follow. There's a total of 52 squares and each one of them represents one week of the year. Whenever you save an amount, you can color it, highlight it, or put a smiley face on it, do whatever your heart desires and see your progress grow.
The reason I love this savings challenge is that I can decide which amounts to save for each week as there is no particular order to this challenge. For example, I tried to start saving the larger amounts as much as possible so that I wasn't left with really large amounts at the end of the year. Additionally, I already knew which months were going to require more spending than others so for these times smaller amounts would be easier to tackle. Truly, I believe having a customizable option makes saving easier for everyone rather than for certain lifestyles and financial situations.

To sum up, I think one of the best, and most fun ways to save money is by starting a savings challenge. Have any of you done savings challenges before? If so, comment on how your experience was! If you have not done one before, why are you interested in starting one now?
