Reasons to Start Waking Up Earlier.

#1 More productivity.

Mornings are the most productive times of the day for me! At the very beginning of every day, your store of willpower and motivation are a lot higher than later in the day or evening. This makes the mornings a great time to work on some habits and to do things you find harder to accomplish during the day or after work.

I enjoy doing a quick tidy around the house, plan out my day, and do things I know I won't like to do after a long/busy day.

#2 Better concentration.

There are fewer distractions in the morning, usually because the rest of the world is asleep. Our brains are more alert in the morning and we will have way better focus. Also, we make better decisions and think more clearly in the morning. This is why I love setting my goals and planning out my days nice and early!

#3 Peace and quiet.

My favorite part about the mornings is that I get to start off the day in a quiet space. I get to think, breathe, and just slowly wake up from my sleep. I'm not getting as many notifications, calls, emails, etc. and not having to deal with any sort of commotion first thing. It's just my own time.

#4 Time to exercise.

I like to exercise in the morning because I find that later in the day, I come up with more excuses as to why I can't. Excuses like, " I had a long day, and I'm tired" is super common, and usually true. After a long day, I want to relax, so my solution is to work out bright and early! As mentioned, we have more willpower in the morning so utilize that willpower! Additionally, morning workouts help keep me feeling amazing during the day, and makes me feel so accomplished! I use to work out around 10:00 p.m... now I love waking up, eating a good breakfast, and getting in that perfect exercise before I plan out the rest of my day.

#5 Time for breakfast.

I'm not talking about a quick, to-go, type of breakfast. Waking up earlier allows you to actually have a healthy, nutritional breakfast to start off your day. I love my breakfast time, so yummy! Who wouldn't want their first meal of the day to be amazing, delicious, and extra special?

#6 More you time.

When you wake up early your give your self more time out of the day. You can use this time for literally anything! It's your choice of how you build your routines. Just like how I enjoy exercising and planning out my day, journaling, etc. Use this time for anything that makes you happy, feel accomplished, and can lead you to a great day.

#7 A beautiful sunrise.

Who doesn't love a great sunrise? I love all the beautiful colors, and starting off a morning with a beautiful site like that is a perfect way to start anyone's day! Even ending the day with a good book and a sunset, I love it so much.

#8 Get a head start.

If you are a goal-getter and love working, waking up early will get you that perfect head-start on your work, and this may even provide you more time in the evening for relaxation. I love working on my blog, and all the future projects in the morning! I usually get into work around 9:00 a.m. after I enjoy some me-time.
